Service Description: This map shows the locations of all known historical earthquakes in the eight states comprising the Central United States Earthquake Consortium (CUSEC) (Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee) with a moment magnitude (Mw) equal to or greater than 3.0. In addition to the epicenters, this map shows the distribution of active and inactive permanent seismic recording stations known in the CUSEC states.
